Using Tools of Reflection, Pedagogy, and Creative Insubordination to Rehumanize Math Education

Description

Carefully designed group work and feedback and regular reflection probing our beliefs can all increase math equity. Creative insubordination helps preserve our self-worth while being part of an inequitable system. We discuss the role of these deliberate practices in rehumanizing math and provide material to support maintaining these practices.
