The Common Core at Nine Years: An Analysis
Description
The Common Core was designed to improve student performance by focusing on fewer topics each year, having clear standards for each topic, and testing on these standards each year. Yet as of this writing there has been little or no improvement of student performance. Reasons for the lack of substantial improvement should guide future efforts.
