Teddy Bears, Army Men, and Zombies: The Wonderful World of Algebra

Description

How do teddy bears fall? What do parachutes do mathematically? Are zombies exponential? Using free apps and the power of Desmos, this session will use data collection activities to bring algebra 1 to life. We will discuss inquiry-based activities that allow students to explore linear, quadratic, and exponential relationships in context.
