Ethnomathematics: Challenging, Engaging, and Empowering Students with Culture-Based Lessons

Description

Engage in hands-on lessons developed, implemented, and refined by instructors of the world's first academic program in ethnomathematics! Participants will explore lessons at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Activities will revolve around cultural practices that help teachers affirm students' strengths and enable students to be authors of mathematics.
