An Example of Teaching Mathematics for Social Justice
Description
Teachers should be more cognizant of teaching to a diverse population of students through social justice techniques. Our plan is to show teachers through a demonstrative workshop with a sample activity from Eric Gutstein and Bob Peterson's (2005) "Rethinking Mathematics: Teaching Social Justice by Numbers" that they can use in their classrooms.
