Access to SMPs through Engaging Tasks about Double Dice and Dominoes
Description
In this session, double dice and dominoes are context for rich tasks and math talks as we use the mathematical practices. A range of entry points and materials will be provided for student access. Applications from train games to tile patterns will focus on creating expressions, equivalent expressions, solving equations, and data analysis. Dominoes provided.
