Building Students’ Algebraic Thinking: Explorations with Evens and Odds
Description
In this session, teachers will explore activities involving even and odd numbers as a context for supporting early elementary students in noticing mathematical relationships and building arguments. The presenters will share video and three lessons from an early algebra instructional sequence implemented in a kindergarten classroom.
