Relating Number and Geometry in the Early Grades

Description

In this session, a PK research-based equity learning path based on the NRC report Mathematics Learning in Early Childhood is summarized. Participants will discuss how the number and geometry activities challenge, engage, and empower all children to learn PK standards, enter kindergarten on grade level, learn K-grade 1 standards, and relate number and geometry concepts.
