What's Hard for Experienced Math Teachers? Making In-the-Moment Decisions Facilitating Mathematical Discourse

We have spent two years working with experienced mathematics teachers to inquire into their instruction. In this presentation, I share our process and what we have learned. In particular, I describe the many challenges in the moment-to-moment decisions involved in facilitating mathematical discourse.
