Why Mathematics? To Explore the World around Us All

Description

Tasks that individuals outside the classroom want to solve provide opportunities for mathematics teachers to authentically challenge their students. In this workshop, teachers will explore ways they can leverage their students' mathematical intuitions as an entry point to engage them in challenging tasks that have real-world connections.
