Every day we encounter narratives and assumptions about who are students are and what mathematics is. How do these narratives impact students' experience in schools and their access to rigorous mathematics? In this session, we will explore ways to challenge assumptions and to reframe narratives as a necessary part of equity for all K-12 students.
