Rethinking Middle Grades Intervention Practices: Tearing Down Barriers to High-Quality Mathematics

Description

Students enrolled in double-block mathematics courses can struggle with developing positive mathematical identities. I developed a partnership with a local museum so that students are able to participate in meaningful STEM-based activities during the school day. This session will present lessons and strategies developed from this collaboration.
