Determining the Levels of Cognitive Demand of Elementary Math Activities Found Online
Description
How do teachers choose math tasks on the Internet? Are there guidelines for teachers about how to choose tasks? To answer these questions, we surveyed teachers across the U.S. and classified over 2,000 tasks found online. Come discuss a set of recommendations we have developed, and share ideas for how to help teachers learn to choose high-quality tasks.
