Right Field seating in front of the B & O Warehouse within the ballpark at Camden Yards.
With a late afternoon game scheduled, we left our hotel early to explore Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and find some good seafood before the game.
Once claimed as longest building east of the Mississippi, it’s the signature piece of the ballpark development in 1992, over 3 football fields in length but less than 60 feet wide.
Just looking up at the beautiful details of the twin colonial towers that soared above the brick and steel structure, I knew it was real. Walking along the harbor we spotted Federal Hill where Francis Scott Key wrote the Star Spangled Banner during the War of 1812, then made our way over to Phillips Crab Deck for a half-dozen crab, half racks of ribs and traditional Maryland crab cakes.
Boats began to tie up on the Inner Harbor wall next to the Amphitheater where the music group Heart was completing a sound check for a concert later today.
Close to game time now, we made our way down Pratt Street to Eutah and the entrance to Oriole Park. The Cardinals came out today hoping to rebound from a terrible loss on Friday night,  scoring runs in each of the first two innings to give Joe Lackey and 2-0 lead. The post-game experience on Eutah Street, within the confines of Oriole Park at Camden Yards. With the Red Sox in town for a rematch of last year’s World Series, the 2014 Go Go Cards RoadTrip began with Game 1 of the series at Busch Stadium. We met Toni and Mike Durham at the PBR Bar after checking out Ballpark Village for the first time.
Lance Lynn started the game with a 1-2-3 1st and then got out of a 2nd inning jam after a lead-off triple and a fan interference. The offense has come back from the dead with First Baseman Matt Adams’ return from the DL.
Of course, last time the Brew Crew won the NL Central was 2011, and we all know what happened then! Our last game of the Roadtrip included a light rail pass and an all-inclusive ticket to Monday Night’s opening game of the Cards-Giants series in the Champions Club. As the gates opened outside Stan Musial Way, we took the elevator up one flight, crossed the Musial Bridge and entered the Champions Club where our waitress, Peggy greeted us, shared some stories, and provided us with a bit of the club’s history. We sat a table near the window as close to the infield as possible and each time our beverage cups got low Bill reached out with two fingers toward our waitress. Jake Westbrook took the mound for the Cardinals against All-Star starter Matt Cain, and the Giants got on the board quickly on a lead-off home run by Angel Pagan. In the 2nd inning Bill ventured outside to check out the club seat view just in time to greet one of the all-time greatest defensemen ever to wear a Blue note.
Carlos Beltran slammed a solo home run as we talked but it wasn’t enough to end our conversation with Bobby Plager. It was hard letting the conversation end, but there’s a reason why fans buy  tickets to an all-inclusive club at Busch Stadium. Back out at the game, we sat in our seats directly behind Minnesota Matt and his buddies from the Twin Cities who were in St.
The Cards chased Cain later in the inning when Matt Carpenter hit a pinch-hit two-RBI single with the bases loaded. Our Cardinal Roadtrip planning is in high gear, looking forward to seeing the Cards in Denver this year. The last time I saw a baseball game in Kansas City, the ballpark was called Royals Stadium and it looked like this. It was a bizarre year that will one day be scripted into Hollywood images and performed on the big screens in 3D.
It was a year that began with season-ending surgery on the team’s number one starter, Adam Wainwright.
More injuries followed in the first half;  first a broken hand to David Freese,  a fractured wrist bone to Pujols, and then a crushed knee into the outfield wall for Allen Craig. It was the Cardinals 11th World Series Championship and the third for manager Tony LaRussa. The Cardinals celebrated their improbable run through the postseason with a victory parade and ceremony at Busch Stadium. After 16 years and three World Series wearing the Birds On The Bat, LaRussa now joins Red Schoendienst and Whitey Herzog as the greatest managers in Cardinal history.

Since the trading deadline in late July, the Cardinals were down so many times, but they were never out. Tags: Albert Pujols, Busch Stadium, Cardinals, Chris Carpenter, David Freese, Jason Mott, Lance Berkman, St.
After five days  driving thru seven states to see four games in three different ballparks, the 2011 Roadtrip came to an end.
Along the way back to the home ship from Memphis,  we ventured off I-55 to discover Campbell, Mo. The Three Amigos were  finally home and all of us were pretty damn tired from a long and winding road  trip!

Every year we follow our team in the heat of a pennant race, meeting new and interesting fans along the way  while enjoying places  like Salem and Steelville,  Old Town St. The Milwaukee Brewers were in town for a three-game series at Busch Stadium and the Cardinals had an opportunity to win a share of first place this week!
I flew into town just in time to pick up our rental car for the drive down to Busch Stadium and the road trip to follow. Jake Westbrook got out of a bases loaded jam to give up only  a run in the first inning thanks to a strike out and an inning ending double play. Unfortunately, the Cards could never get in the game and by the 9th inning we were sitting behind the 3rd base dugout watching the final sparks of a rally fade when Yadier Molina grounded out to short. Tags: Bill Kunstel, Busch Stadium, Cardinals, Carla Kunstel, Clayton Kunstel, Dave Kunstel, Don Kunstel, Fox Midwest, Jack Buck, Jake Westbrook, Rafael Furcal, St. Finally, the last leg of the journey was about to begin as we drove to Forest park to the Missouri History Museum where an exhibit had opened showing the history of All-Star Games played in St.
Like Opening Day at the ballpark, the parade began with all the Cardinal Hall of Famers and we watched just across from Stan the Man’s statue, taking pictures and anticipating the next group of current All-Stars making their way down Stan Musial Drive. I heard a live blues band playin in a small lot east of Shannon’s and we scored a table near the stage right next to Beatle bob, a quirky local icon in the St.
Cardinals Homer’s Landing and Left Field landing tickets are sold as both season tickets and individual game tickets. In game one of the series, the Cardinals defeated the Cubs 4-3 after Randal Grichuk hit a walk-off home run. In the third and final game, the Cardinals fell behind 6-1 in the second inning, only to come back from the deficit to make it a 6-4 game. The Cardinals had a promising chance to tie or win the game in the ninth inning, as Stephen Piscotty and Matt Adams reached base with no outs. Though the Cubs took the series over the Cardinals at home, there were some glaring learning points for fans to take away from the matchup. In his annual top 100 prospects rankings for ESPN, ESPN senior baseball analyst Keith Law has ranked four St. Those prospects ranked include Stephen Piscotty (62), Marco Gonzales (64), Alex Reyes (77), and Rob Kaminsky (87). The rankings are limited to players who still have rookie eligibility; that means they have yet to exceed 130 at-bats or 50 innings pitched in the majors and have not yet spent 45 days on the active roster of a major league club, excluding call-ups during the roster expansion period after Sept.
If a player played in either Japan or Korea, they are not eligible under Law’s criteria. The only other former Cardinals prospect, since traded, who made the list is pitcher Tyrell Jenkins (82). A former third baseman, Piscotty has taken well to right, with a plus arm and roughly average range.
He’s ready to pitch in a major league rotation now, assuming the Cardinals have a place for him, and I envision him having a long career as an average to slightly above-average starter, mostly under the radar until we all look up in 10 or 15 years and wonder how he did it. Reyes already has the potential for the three pitches he’ll need as a starter, and he has shown he can miss bats.
With that third pitch well on its way, Kaminsky needs primarily to work on command and control, but his 2014 was very promising for a 19-year-old from a cold-weather state pitching in full-season ball. Louis Cardinals, the National League's premier baseball club and winner of 11 World Series Championships!
It was a short walk up Russell Street and over the rail tracks to old Eutah Street and Camden Yards.
Louis – our Club Level tickets purchased with the Kerchers back in March and four first row tickets in Section 136 down the first base line. Louis got on the board  in the 4th on a Matt Holliday double and a Matt Adams RBI single, then took the lead in the 6th when Sugar Shane Robinson slid into home plate with a headfirst slide and a left handed sweep of of the dish on a Kolten Wong single to center. Louis Cardinals captured their 11th World Series crown and this  Sunday, after a parade thru the streets in St. Louis each summer to follow the Cardinals,  enjoying the beautiful streams and landscape of Missouri with my brothers and family members is pretty special! Charles and Cherokee Street, the Katy Trail and Creve Coeur Park.  Natural areas like the new Current River State Park,  Johnson Shutins,  and the upper Meramec River keep me coming back to Missouri year after year!

Louis music scene who danced in front of the band wearing sunglasses and a Cardinal red suit coat. Louis Cardinals Homer’s Landing is the name for the seating area just above the center field bleachers at Busch Stadium. Louis Cardinals Homer’s Landing is technically the name of one specific section, fans commonly refer to both it and the Cardinals Left Field Landing seating area as related sections. The Cardinals ticket prices page shows the current season price for tickets when purchased directly from the team. Louis Cardinals dropped their second straight game to the Chicago Cubs, falling in the series 2-1. Kris Bryant quickly widened the gap by hitting a home run over the bullpen in left field to make it a 9-4 game. However, Hector Rondon shut down the Cardinals with three consecutive outs and the comeback chance ended there. Whether good or bad, knowing more about yourself or your opponent is something that helps in the game of baseball, and this series told us a lot about the two rivals. Louis Cardinals Hopes for the Offseason: Adam Wainwright by Miranda RemaklusKolten Wong To Lead Off For St. Learning to repeat his delivery better, maintaining his conditioning and eventually throwing more and better strikes are the key benchmarks to get him to be a No. On the Busch Stadium seating chart, the Cardinals Legends Club is between the 200 and 300 levels from first base to the right field corner. Every Cardinals Legends Club suite provides an included buffet with hot dogs, BBQ beef, nachos, pasta, and snacks. Cardinals Legends Club tickets are rarely available on the secondary market and popular games can sell out far in advance. The Busch Stadium seating chart shows the Left Field Loge below the Left Field Pavilion and above the Left Field Porch and Left Field Box seating areas. Five of the sections are normal seating sections: Cardinals Section 267, Cardinals Section 268, Cardinals Section 269, Cardinals Section 270, and Cardinals Section 271.
The Busch Stadium seating chart shows the Cardinals Homer’s Landing above sections 501 through 503 in center field. Homer’s Landing is above the center field bleacher sections 501, 502, and 503 while Left Field Landing is between sections 167 and 170. Given the high price of Cardinals Landing tickets relative to their below average views of the game, it is rare to find any Cardinals Landing tickets on the secondary market.
Louis Cardinals center fielder Randal Grichuk (15) is congratulated by third base coach Chris Maloney after hitting a home run off of Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Jake Arrieta (not pictured) during the second inning at Busch Stadium. Though this isn’t the outcome fans wanted, we learned some things that we may not have known before. In the sixth and seventh inning, Matt Holliday and Matt Adams homered, driving in four runs total and pulling the game within one run. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Marco Gonzales (56) throws to a Colorado Rockies batter during the fourth inning at Busch Stadium. That means Milwaukee Brewers infielder Luis Sardinas, for instance, is ineligible, based on his days on the 25-man roster. 3 starter here, one who’ll have a long career because hitters will always have a hard time picking up the ball out of his hand.
Beer and soda are also included in the price of a Cardinals Legends Club seat with alcohol service available half-an-hour before the game until the bottom of the eighth inning. Since there are better premium seating sections in Busch Stadium available for a comparable price, fans interested in an inclusive seating area should consider multiple sections before deciding to purchase Cardinals Legends Club tickets. Louis Cardinals ticket prices page has more detailed information about different ticketing options for Busch Stadium. Both Cardinals Landing areas offer inclusive snack buffets and beer throughout the game and can accommodate parties of up to 28 (for Left Field Landing) or 97 (for Homer’s Landing).
Fans interested in the snack and beer buffet in the Cardinals Landing sections should contact the St.
Cardinals Legends Club seats provide mediocre views of the game and are relatively expensive compared to other premium seating areas with better locations or more impressive food-and-beverage options. Indoor reserved tickets in the Cardinals Legends Club are quite poor for watching the game and most baseball fans will want to avoid paying the premium ticket price for seats that offer virtually no sight lines of home plate. Every seat in the Left Field Loge offers only an average view of the game due to the seating area location from from home plate. As there are no multi-game discounts offered and the seating area is relatively small, not many Left Field Loge tickets make it to the secondary ticketing market. All seats throughout the Cardinals Homer’s Landing and Cardinals Left Field Landing sections offer adequate views of the game, but fans will choose these seats for the relaxed, picnic-like atmosphere and unlimited snack and beer buffet. The main advantage of the Cardinals Legends Club is the ability to fit a mid-size group into a single Legends Club suite with easy access to all seats and the lounge. However, since all the sections are on the 200 level relatively close to the field, fans still feel close enough to the action to get a feel for the game.
Ticket brokers and Cardinals ticket sellers may have scattered options for many games, but only seats near the front rows of each section will be worth any significant premium.
