About Me

I joined UT Austin's faculty in Fall 2011 in the Department of Information, Risk and Operations Management in the McCombs School of Business. Before teaching, I worked 9 years as a IT Consultant for Accenture focused on System Integration for Fortune 500 companies within Retail, High Tech, and Medical Products industries. After my first semester teaching, I was awarded the Texas Exes Teaching Award, a student-nominated award given annually to one professor at each college. I was also awarded the Harkins Foundation Award For Effective Teaching. I've taught classes in "Intro to IT Management", "Business Systems Development", and "IT for Accounting & Controls". I'm happily married and in my spare time I like playing guitar, exercising, and enjoying the adventures Austin has to offer.
