Why are Colorado students ticketed or arrested?

In the 2019-20 school year, Colorado students were ticketed or arrested 4,897 times, according to the Colorado Division of Criminal Justice. This chart shows a breakdown of the offenses for which students were ticketed or arrested. The vast majority of incidents result in tickets, with 9% resulting in arrests.
