There's a noticeable difference between the softer brush and the firmer one, and it's really great to have the option of using one or both depending on the day. The small round brush offers a lovely facial massage. The only flaw is that the two larger brushes don't always stay put on the long handle. Could be I just need to be firmer about attaching them. Either way, I'd still buy these again, and probably will when the ones I have now wear out.
