Maybe everyone else is like this too, or maybe I'm just the Goldilocks of dry brushing, but I've purchased more than a few brushes in search of "the one." Some were so soft I didn't feel like they had any effect, and some were firm enough but awkward to hold. I like this set because there's both a soft (but not too soft) and a firm option - both of which are useful depending on how often I'm using them. In my experience there's a sweet spot - soft usually works for starting out, firm works best for dry brushing regularly but not everyday, and soft works best for dry brushing everyday because the firm may over-exfoliate. The face brush is well-constructed but I don't have any personal experience with it yet - I use it as a decoy to entertain my three-year-old so I can get a few minutes to myself. :)
