I think the removal of Anita’s video r.e Bayonetta is a perfect statement for her complete misunderstanding of gaming in general. As far as being a feminist is concerned she’s done nothing for the feminist community by taking huge amounts of money from a kickstarter to produce a finite amount of videos with very little researched content. She’s also done nothing for the feminist community by taking rates and comments away from her YouTube videos, if you post videos on the Internet, your “gonna get burned” male or female, feminist, philosopher, scientist, film reviewer, game reviewer whatever the hell you are on there, so she and ‘feminist frequency’ want to be the untouchables, unable to accept or acknowledge the Internet for all its flaws. Feminism used to be about equality not about taking one section of society and completely trashing it, wether you like it or not ‘men’ (those nasty stupid things) are more interested in the gaming market than women are, so they let us role play as big muscle bound space marines and gangsters and whatever, but to then frivolously pay attention to the way women are portrayed in some games, despite the huge number of good strong female characters (who are designed sexually as much as male characters are) is just giving feminism a bad name..

The last bit about Bayonetta makes my stomach churn when you wrote how that…..*insert insult, but not swear word* Anita would say that Bayonetta (Cereza) was a single Mother…..a SINGLE MOTHER!!

I’ll be real honest here: Anita has nothing better to do than to troll the gaming community, exploiting the hardcore gamers to rile up their sensitivities and appeal to the casual crowd that lacks comprehension of these games. To call this woman ignorant to the contrary of her delusions of grandeur would be befitting of any notion that she is absolutely accurate to any of her statements or her footnotes about the sexism lain in games.

Arguing her points even further, she lost big time when Bayonetta was mentioned. Bigger points when Pac-Man was brought up. She, not once--AT ALL--brought up Metroid or Guardian Legend, a game which the protagonist happens to be a female android who’s quest is to destroy an alien world to save Earth.

To sum it up, I’m beyond happy that you’ve wrote this article, Radi. You’ve hit every point and angle very accurately and it saddens me that people out there will continue to agree with what she says. I seriously can’t stomach anything she creates and anyone who agrees with her views are either misinformed, misunderstood, or overall just plain downright ignorant.
