There are several name brand items on Home that “gets it right!” Billabong is the primary example to this, alongside Wrangler. Though their items aren’t “too” fascinating, the commodity is definitely fashionable. Billabong’s attention to detail is incredible and this new release from Diesel is literally no exception to this.

I’ve written a review on this and I’m working on creating some apparel based on these items for my site. Just follow the link to see what I mean. :)

Cheers!

The other issue is what makes a good real life diesel product doesnt make a good virtual one. This is where lockwood gets it right release a home dedicated brand that shows off what home can do. Not a real life product that really doesnt show off either that well.

It’s fascinating! Creative! Mind-boggling!

I’ve purchased even some of the male wear from their past line-up on Home and I even bought a few of their real world items. Diesel also supported Devil May Cry 2, which was how I learned about them.

It is a grim case of how male fashion in the north american shores boils itself down to Saggy Skinny Jeans, Topless Torso, Bandanna Scarf, and a backwards Cap. I don’t mind the sharp suits; none at all. But I also like diversity as well, which there are so much to explore in that spectrum. Just that most won’t ever give it a chance.

Much like the Diesel male fashions on Home. I’ve only saw, what…..3-4 guys wear the beige leather jacket? The Wrangler version is nearly the same in design, but no one wears it, neither the fashions. :(

Speaking of Storm, I’ve always thought their watches would make a great addition to the Home clothing/accessories lines. In fact, Tokyo Flash would be all kinds of awesomes for Home watches.

Anyway, Diesel do have a very european style to a lot of their clothes, some of the shirts carry a very U.K type cut too, which I like a lot. One of my favorite shirts for in Home is a (now unavailable) short-sleeved, open collar shirt which can be paired with a lot of other things. The back-stitch to it means it hugs the small of the back, giving you a nice shape.

I don’t see much of Diesel’s stuff around Home on the guys in U.S though, and that’s probably just down to localized fashion. While U.S women’s fashion obviously goes through its motions, men’s fashion just seems to stay in the same two categories: Baggy n’ bling or Sharp Suits. I’m kinda in the middle of those myself since I like to do things like mix a suit jacket and loose shirt with jeans and dress shoes. Eclectic, but kinda cool.
