Heh -No cracking Indian jokes K- its unbecoming and demeans the holiday and can be found offensive- but we can give you some leeway as you are a foreigner and do not know the ways of our culture :P -touche- mon amie. -the French they are lovers not fighters. Luckily I have some of that in me to balance out my Scot ancestry. (good too that it resides in my tongue). We could all do with a dose of diplomacy from time to time.

LOL.

“I to AM thankful for PSH….”

I am a person whose story is long and from my perspective filled with things I don’t really like, but when I found Home, my whole life changed in profound ways. I too have found love, and I was not looking for it, but I can’t see my life with out my gal. Home has given me something I have never really had, at least not in any numbers worth mentioning: Friends. For much of my life I lacked those and there was a time I found myself at my shop 7 days a week, just working or teaching my self the computers I’m so good at. Life was a void and with Home, I too found so much. I truly do love my friends and am concerned with all their activities, good and bad. The people I have known and do currently know, have made home so important and real to me. I am deeply glad that I cannot put that genie in that bottle again. On a personal note to Granny, Norse, Terra and Burbie: thank you for your frienship and support in my time here at the magazine. This writing gig has meant so much to me, I do not believe that I can ever truly put into words what it means to me.I am part of the Grey Gamers and that has changed my life in great and massive ways too. I found my MaeBell there and things have been a blast since I friended her. I am very thankful for Home and all I have been through here. Thanks Norse, dang good article!

I am a big proponent of the idea that we as human beings connect to each other deeply through our flaws, idiosyncrasies, and faults rather than our self proclaiming fasades of profection. The humbling experiences we go through help reveal our integrity as individuals.

I don’t think of you as “Damaged” after reading this- I think of you as strong. Being immersed in a society of blame it’s easy to overlook the endurance, the ability to candidly self -assess, and adapt as “waffling and weak” but nothing could be further from the truth. Through our suffering we learn compassion- thus it follows that deeper connections to our fellow human beings can be made.

I was recently come down on for revealing some of my personal experiences- so it us particularly inspiring to see you fearlessly laying it on the line.

I too thankful for PSH. I have met many many good friends here.

However I am tremendously thankful to HSM and you and Terra and all the volunteers that contribute to sustaining this publication. Without my introduction to HSM Playstation Home would be an entirely different experience for me. I have JUST_A_AVATAR to thank for that -and Estim… Burbie and all my Grey Gamers friends- Godz, Ted, Jellia and so many others and of course last but hardly least incomparable Mr. K.

Much thanks to all my PSH, and HSM pals- you have shared my laughter and also brought me through some rough times and there is absolutely nothing virtual about your friendship -and for that I cannot be thankful enough.

I too have had my fair share of difficult life experiences- I think to be unscathed in life someone would have to be in a permanent stasis doing absolutely nothing.

Good article about good experiences on home, but people take note of the warnings that norse has put in there.

I was focusing on Section II and your being able to get back to writing. So the hey hey hey remark stands.

So does my second paragraph except while true I think it sounds too negative (my paragraph, I mean). I am happy your happiness is better and it is indeed an enjoyable article.
:) :) :) :)
There! I feel better now which is nice cus I don’t feel well. Bad weather too. Pffft!

This was a great article Norse and I am glad that you have found some happiness in Home. Life can be a very hard row to hoe sometimes and anything that allows us to escape for awhile and find some solace, whether it be a game or people to talk to, is a good thing.

For the first time ever though, I think I’m starting to actually understand why you guys have Thanksgiving. I know I know, the clues in the name huh! But really, I always just figured it was another excuse to have a few days off work and eat yourselves silly. But after reading this, and Ted’s article… I think I get it now. It’s not about sneaking some time off, or an excuse to get drunk, or some kinda distraction from the accidental death of a nation of tribesmen…

This is about looking inside, about reflection on what we have that’s good in our lives. Thank you HSM, for opening my eyes to the true reason for your holiday. I hope you all here at HSM have a good Thanksgiving.
