The Others, Paranormal activity, and heck I’ll up the ante to say :White Noise”. The latter--by far--had me shaking out of me seat and by the end, out the movie theater and into my bed.

Cuttersridge Estates (which I recently purchased) is a real treat. I haven’t bought the expansion pack just yet but it is on my “to do list”. However, I truly like it just as is; I can’t count how many times me and my friends were screaming at how the scarecrow outside was running around my house, or me seeing a ghostly entity or perhaps a necro-glowing kick Ball bouncing over to me and inside my house.

Definitely worth the $6.99 if you want to have some fun on Halloween at Home. Great article, Norse. :D

I remember having arguments about Silent Hill Vs Resi and which one was scarier, to my mind Rezi wasn’t just not scary, it was actually kinda boring. Once you got a hold of a line-gun or a machine gun though, it was just a case of holding down the fire button while moving towards the level exit. But Silent Hill, oh man. Things moving around in the fog you couldn’t quite see, clutching your ONLY weapon ( a kitchen knife or tire iron), or even better, being lost in an extremely dark primary school, unable to see a damn thing while relying on that radio static to know if something’s near you… Genius.

I didnt bother with this Cutterige pack for two reasons, first as you’ve already pointed out I thought the Demonic space (while still kinda cool) was rather lacking in comparison to its more alive counterpart and looked very hard to decorate in a natural way also. So essentially I’d be paying for 3 games I’d probably finish in a couple hours anyway. Secondly, I was miffed at the inability to share this game with my friends without them having to fork out cash for it too. Although given the prize at the end, it’s logical as to why guests cant play. Perhaps an alternative prize for guests?

No matter, I’m still extremely grumpy about having my Halloween plans dashed by this damn mini game…
