Yes I 100% agree,you have to be very close to hear anything,and if you even turn your back to it,it fades,very disappointing on that aspect,I mean I do love the iradio or whatever it is in the space apartment, but then again,the music channels suck,and you have to be semi close,otherwise it’s a waste,so having a controlled volume preset through out your whole club,and or personal space would be an excellent idea.In my opinion they need a youtube app, or a Pandora app, to make it more enjoyable, that way you can find your music, and or videos, or even make a channel from Pandora. With that being said, I sure hope this becomes an option very soon.

If you use an EOD screen at the top of LOOT’s Space space — the one that’s on the sticking-out bit— and hold your party downstairs, you can find a large area where the music can be heard. Experiment a bit to find the limits and place your furniture accordingly.

I’m sure that the portable EOD will be a very popular item in Home. Lord knows that people have been waiting a long time for it.

That said, I doubt that I will buy this incarnation of it. I own both the Sunset Yacht and Hollywood Hills House. I’ve watched a couple movies over the past several months but I usually end up using it to play music. There is a definite advantage to having a music player in any personal space for me. A movie player, on the other hand, does not hold that much appeal.

If I really wanted to watch a movie or invite friends to do so, the theatres in the Yacht and Hollywood spaces are more than sufficient. Plus, they don’t use up any furniture slots while the portable unit gobbles up a quarter of a space’s allotment.

One drawback of the current EOD for music playback is the limited audible radius. You need to place your avatar relatively close to the screen to hear anything. A setting to make it audible throughout the space would be a huge advantage. The portable unit would provide somewhat of a solution to this problem.
