HomeStation Presents: the Wit and Whimsy Contest

It’s time for those who have imagination, creativity, and the willpower to make something happen to come forward and shine.
This contest is not about technical skills or perfect sentence structure: this is about seeing the humor in Home – the wit! And about looking at this virtual reality from a slightly different perspective – the whimsy.
- GOALS: Encourage creativity and imagination. Recognize and reward creative achievements. Pep up the atmosphere with some FUN.
- LENGTH: Start posting your entries in the Home Forum (http://community.us.playstation.com/community/general_home) in the new Wit & Whimsy thread. Last day to post an entry: April 30. Winners will be announced on May 1.
- TOPIC: First topic is your favorite ‘sidekick’
- ENTRIES: Contestants may enter as many times as they like, in as many categories as interest them, but only one First Prize per person
- CATEGORIES:
- Written – poem, vignette, joke, short article
- Artwork – cartoon, sketch, postcard, still photo
- Video – short machinima (1 to 3 minutes)
- *note: all entries must be original work by the contestant.
- VOTING: Winners for each category would be determined by number of ‘likes’ an entry receives in the Wit & Whimsy thread in the Home Forum
- PRIZES: Each of the 3 categories has a prize of “anyone one item you want from the Lockwood Gift Machine”
- CONTESTANTS: EVERYONE is able to compete, including the HSM staff members.
