Fancy a post-apocalyptic pad?
nDreams bring you the Monsters Collection: a range of posters, maps and ornaments from the hit indie movie, Monsters (rated a full 5/5 by Empire Magazine). The range launches in Europe and North America on Thursday, 17th February, and includes evacuation maps, infected signs, and posters which were used in the film — along with a pulsing luminescent tentacle ornament based on the alien creatures.
Editor’s note: Let me reiterate that – a pulsing, luminescent tentacle ornament based on the alien creatures. And we’re not even in Japan. Or at a GWAR concert, for that matter.
One of the coolest ornaments ever designed for a private space? Yes. Yes it is. Is there an option to set a proximity alert for the tentacles? Your houseguests get too close and the tentacles grab them, shake them violently, and hurl them a great distance? This must happen.
…need…tentacles…NOW!
Take a look at the New Releases thread in the HSM Forum. I posted pics of the tentacles monster attacking fair damsel in distress in a variety of locations in Home. Don’t go to sleep tonight……
These tentacles remind me of the scene in “The Re-Animator” when Herbert West gets pulled into that altered corpse near the end.A great movie 4 any fan of Lovecraft and these tentacles r a must have 4 any fan of horror stories.
Have to admit I’ve been thinking about this musical (and this particular number) since reading about this item:

LMAO this is my new favorite song,if we could have personal theme songs in home this would def. b mine.lol good ole miskatonic U. and those medieval metaphysics.
I regret that the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society does not have a branch in my part of the country. Their film of “The Call of Cthulhu” is one of the most brilliant pieces of amateur cinema ever made. Check out their other offerings on their website:

Hmmm… need to get those audio dramas…
Thanks for the info.if i would have known this existed i would have become a member years ago instead of days ago.
I’m normally not the type to recommend this kind of music, but the San Francisco Symphony, along with Metallica, created an *amazing* piece of music called “The Call of Ctulu” — it’s really worth a listen.
I haven’t heard that collaboration but “The Call of Cthulu” was originally on their “Ride the lighting” album,in my opinion their best album. That song on that album is a killer song and i’ll be sure to look this up,thanks.
TENTACLES!! EEEEEEE!! My #1 would-have alien appendage…won’t say where… (just look up some H.R. Geiger). Ahem. Yay!
