HomeStation Audience: Check Out HearItWow
Aloha, HSM readers:
Ever find yourself scanning the various critical reactions of a new film on Metacritic? And there’s always one or two people whose opinions you look for? There have got to be countless film critics on the planet, but how many of them will ever achieve the relevance of a Pauline Kael or a Roger Ebert?
Likewise, with the explosion of digital photography, there must likely be a commensurate increase in the number of people attempting to be the next Ansel Adams or Robert Doisneau. But capturing the lightning-in-a-bottle magic of Le baiser de l’hôtel de ville is a very difficult proposition indeed.
And there are certain individuals within the Home community who, through a combination of innate talent, work ethic and imagination, have become the go-to voices of the community. The people whose opinions simply matter.
HearItWow is one such individual.
Many of you are already familiar with him. If you’ve spent any time in the Sony message forum, then you already know he’s one of the most literate, insightful voices in the community. Likewise, if you’ve spent any time in Home’s community theater, then you’re already familiar with his work.
In case you’re not: HearItWow is the creator and host of the HomeCast, a wonderful weekly summation of the latest and greatest in Home. He provides a fantastic resource to the community, which is both entertaining and informative. And, with his most recent podcast for January 13, 2011, he was kind enough to mention HSM. At http://www.gamer-indepth.com/the-homecast you can find a compilation of all his podcasts to date.
HomeStation Magazine is exceptionally flattered to be mentioned in the HomeCast — lord knows, with so much going on in Home itself, he certainly didn’t have to — and it is with great personal warmth that I, on behalf of the HSM team, recommend the HomeCast in return. HearItWow is someone who deserves your patronage.
Absolutely love HearItWow’s Homecast. Very well produced every week

Too cool that HomeCast did a “shout out”. HSN rocks and deserves recognition for it hard work, well executed, thought provoking and informative product.
