Historic Farms:
Large Format Photography by Annie Kidd
As an intern for the Student Conservation Association, Annie Kidd is researching historic barns within Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve. To explain how the barns relate with their larger farm complexes, Ms. Kidd is creating large format photographs, architectural drawings, and written histories of how the barns have changed over time. The photographs were taken with a large format monorail view-finder camera on 4X5 Polaroid type 55 sheet film in April 2006. Once completed, Ms. Kidd's photographs, drawings, and histories will become part of the Library of Congress' HABS collection.
