History: This structure was built by carpenter named Tom Brisco, for Robert Hancock, in the late 1940’s, with lumber from the Old Grade School at Prairie Center (razed). It was constructed for the purposes of storing squash and is used in that capacity today.

Description: Vernacular Barn. Wood frame set on post and block foundation; rectangle (30’ x 42’); 1 1/2-stories.
