History: Henry Armstrong and his father Marcus began construction of their home in 1922, moving into the house in 1923.  Henry Strong, local farmer, built the barn behind the house between 1928-1930.  The Strong’s lived here until 1964 when they sold to Buzz Cook.  The house was eventually sold to the Bolings, in December 1980 by a Mr. McManagle and moved to its current location on Quail Trail Lane in the 1990's. The barn shown in the photographs remains at the home's original location of 1040 Old Highway 525.

Description: Bungalow.  Wood frame set on post and block foundation; L-shape (20’ x 30’); 3 bays wide; 1 1/2-stories.
