History: This house was built c. 1900 as part of a small farm complex. The Gashill family lived in the house during the 1910-1920’s. In 1944, the Vaugh family purchased the house. They were related to Chris Solid who had a small farm to the north-east of this complex. During the 1950’s, the addition was constructed on the east façade and the barn torn down. Mrs. Vaugh sold the house to Jim Anderst in 1972. The original front door is still on the structure.

Description: Early Bungalow. Wood frame set on post and block foundation; rectangle with 1-story shed roof addition on east façade; 3 bays wide; 1-story; shiplap siding; wood-shingled hip/gable roof with extended eaves; corbelled center chimney.
