History: This house was built in 1888 for Fred Nutall, the first rural mail carrier in Coupeville. Additions have been made to the rear of the structure but the front façade remains almost unaltered. A new concrete foundation was added.

Description: Vernacular Farmhouse. Wood frame set on post and block foundation; L-shape; 1 ½-stories; shiplap siding; asphalt-shingled gable roof. Exterior features include 1/1 double-hung sash with plain surrounds and wooden shutters; extended eaves with exposed purlins and rafter ends; hip-roofed porch on north façade supported by square wood posts and enclosed west wall.
