History: Mr. Strong lived in this house for years before he died c. 1938. Strong and Ives were the local “morticians.” Abe Hamlin owned it next and was the last person to farm the land. The house has had very few changes through the years. The present owners purchased the property in 1976.

Description: Vernacular Farmhouse. Wood frame set on stone foundation; T-shape; 5 bays wide; 1 1/2-stories; shiplap siding; wood-shingled gable rood with extended eaves; new, exterior end chimney on east façade.
