History: This house was built by Mr. Newcomb c. 1908. There was a small dock in the bay in front of the house from which Mr. Newcomb operated a small fishing business. The pulley located to the north of the house on the bluff was used to pull driftwood up the bluff for heating the house. Carl Newcomb, the son, lived in the house until his death.

Description: Vernacular Beach Cottage. Wood frame set on post and block foundation; 1-story gable roof addition on west facades; 4 bays wide; 1-story with daylight basement under west section of structure; wood shingle siding; wood-shingled hip roof with extended eaves; interior cement chimneys.
