History: This house was built in 1890. The Stark’s purchased the home in the 1940’s from the Lovejoy Estate. The porch on the west façade was enclosed in the 1950’s. The house remained in the Stark family until purchased by Peter Jefferds about 1974.
Description: Vernacular Farmhouse. Wood frame set on post and block foundation; T-shape; 1 1/2-stories; clapboard siding; asphalt-shingled gable roof; corbelled center chimney. Exterior features include 2/2 double-hung sash with cornice and plain surrounds; 1-story bay window with 1/1 double-hung sash; shed roofed porch with pediment, supported by plain wood posts.
