History: This house was built for James Wanamaker, a local merchant and public official, in 1892. The house remained in the family for many years. The back porch has been removed and a few of the original windows have been moved or replaced.

Description: Vernacular Farmhouse with Italianate elements. Wood frame set on post and block foundation; L-shape; 1 1/2 stories; shiplap siding, partially covered by asbestos siding; asphalt-shingled gable roof; 2 corbelled interior chimneys. Exterior features include 2/2 double-hung sash.
