History: In 1890, Ed Jenne purchased a four acre plot near Prairie Center and had a house constructed for his retirement. The house was sold to Will Jenne in 1908. The house remained in the Jenne family until it was sold to Mattie and Ivar Powell in 1950. The house was sold again in 1967 and since then has had several owners. Few changes have been made to the exterior and interior of the structure. The cedar shake roof has been replaced by asphalt shingles.

Description: Queen Anne Residence. Wood frame set on stone/concrete foundation; 1-story, gable roof addition on west façade; 4 bays wide; 2-stories; asbestos shingle siding with octagon and square butt wood shingles on the gable ends; wood-shingled gable roof with cross gable; corbelled interior chimney on north façade.
