History: This bungalow was built in 1920 for E. J. Hancock, who moved there from his farm. In 1928, the house passed on to Edith Hancock Pearson. She sold the structure to Charles Dixon in 1930. Members of the Dixon family occupied the house until it was sold to “Aunt Pat” Partridge in 1946. Aunt Pat had been the owner of Pat’s Place Restaurant and Hotel for many years which is located across Main Street. Aunt Pat maintained a large rose garden in the front yard of the house for many years.

Description: Bungalow; Wood frame set on post and block foundation; 4 bays wide; 1-story; shiplap siding with clapboard gable ends; galvanized metal-covered gable roof; two off-center interior chimneys on west façade. Exterior features include 3 pane casement sash with multi-pane transom; 1-pane hinged sash with multi-pane transom.
