History: This house was built in 1874 for Alvin Blowers, a prominent businessman in the community. Blowers was a partner in Blowers & Kineth, president of Island County Bank, and held several positions in local government. The house has been remodeled over the years with the back porch and second story porch on the south façade being enclosed, but few changes have been made to the front façade.
