History:  In 1928, Henry Weidenbach contracted Otto Van Dyk to build this home south of Moran's Beach on Whidbey Island.  When the Navy bought out the surrounding property to construct an air field,  Avis Rector, Weidenbach's daughter, and her husband George moved the house to its present site by barge in 1958.  The back porch on the east façade was enclosed in 1939, and after the house was moved, this porch was extended further in 1962.  All the windows have been changed with the exception of the upper gable window on the east faced, and the dormer window on the south façade.

Description:  Bungalow.  Wood frame set on concrete block foundation; rectangle (26’ x 28’) with small gable roof addition on east faced; 3 bays wide; 1 ½-stories.
