History: This farmhouse was built by Charlie Mitchell c. 1900, who lived here for many years.  The house was later bought by Glen Darst, a potato farmer.  The house was passed to Glen’s son Gerald in 1948, and he lived here with his family until he sold the house c. 1979 to Dr. Palmetter.

Description: Vernacular Farmhouse with Bungalow elements.  Wood frame set on post and block foundation; rectangle (20’x36’) with flat roof addition on north façade; 2 bays wide; 1 1/2-stories.
