Retaining walls west seattle, japanese rock garden design elements, craft projects that take a long time - Reviews

Dochnahl Construction built this timber and piling retaining wall at the top of a hill side in West Seattle.  There had been few small surface land slides over the past couple winters so we helped design and built this wall to save their back yard. This is a concrete debris wall, designed for two purposes: it stabilizes the toe of the slope and it has "freeboard" behind the wall to catch and contain the slide debris that might result from a surface slough slide.

Located on the north end of Vashon Island, this Ecology Block debris wall's main purpose is to catch and contain slide debris from the steep hill above, and prevent the slide from continuing across the road and damaging the waterfront homes. Please browse through these photo galleries to see a small sampling of recent projects completed by Ecoyards in the Seattle and Mercer Island areas.  Call us today at (206) 770-7879 or email us to setup a consultation to start your landscape project.
