The first thing all we need to understand is that there are many forms of meditation and you can take your pick from them, according to your comfort level.
So it is important to try out different forms of mediation and apply your energy where you are quite comfortable.
You can practice meditation during the same time everyday, so that your body gets used to the pattern and this way it will be easier to concentrate your mind on meditation.
