However, the t-shirt (which is the biggest item in my mind and what makes the box worth it) isn’t printed quite right.
However, I also had a really hard time getting the helmet to attach to the stand which is supposed to fit snuggly into a round cutout on the inside of the helmet. It looks like there are a few versions you could get instead of the metallic purple I received.
The ones of you that are more aware than I am and aren't still confused by what year it is will notice that it is not December, or even 2014 anymore, but my Loot Crate was super super late this month and only just arrived. The theme was Anniversary as lots of things celebrated birthdays this year- Simpsons celebrated it's 25th year on air. The Ghostbusters door hanger kind of reminds me of something I had when I was a kid and whereas my privacy is pretty well respected, I have a friend who could do with this to keep little brothers out. The Tetris Sticker Set has been retweeted a lot by Loot Crates twitter- people are coming up with some really clever patterns. The digital loot this month was a month free over at Crunchyroll, what looks like the Anime version of Manga.
I'm doing a little blog survey to see what I can improve in the new year, I'd love it if you could take a couple minutes to fill it in here!
Every month, Loot Crate has a theme and for about $20 USD (that includes the shipping!) they send you a box full of geeky gifts from t-shirts to themed comics, collectible figurines, books and more. If you don’t want it spoiled for you then I suggest you stop reading because there are also some pictures to follow! For example, the more awesome side of the shirt, the Ninja… has words like Honor, Invisible Assassins, Martial Arts, Japan, etc.
Each Looter received 1 of 4 possible colors: Mega Man Blue Mega Buster, Mega Man Grey Bubble Lead, Mega Man Green Leaf Shield (the one I got), or Mega Man Red Rush.

I thought maybe it was just me or that I was sucking at it until I saw some looters unboxing on YouTube who had the same problem. First up being Batman #36 written by Scott Snyder and drawn by Greg Capullo- the dream team of comics. I wish I had a car right about now because I love Cap and this would brighten up any car interior. I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with these stickers but they're so cool I'm sure I'll find something. A Mini Candy Cane which I just finished and the usual badge and magazine (again there were two of these).
In my mind, this would be a heavy Megaman or otherwise Ninteno-esque themed box and so, I expected a Megaman shirt. Mine did not fit and it got to the point where I was afraid I would break my stand as it turned and flexed with the force of me trying to put it together.
The neat part is that the figure actually attaches to a Lego – so you can totally stick the little guy into your fun, Lego creations! And I know I said repeatedly that I was cancelling Loot Crate to save money but they drew me in with ann exclusive Funko Pop! When the New 52 started I didn't pick up Batman and I regret it so I'm hoping to jump on with this one!
Honestly can't say I'm a huge fan of this one but I see what they did and it's cute enough!
These will be joining my Deadpool socks, also from Loot Crate, as my favourites in my sock draw. Unfortunately, I had a little trouble with my box this month, including receiving a broken item.

They mentioned 2015 being a banner year for intergalactic exploration, so I thought this was the perfect touch for a galaxy themed box in December.Gratuitous dog photo. Had to happen to someone I suppose and I put it right back together so I guess no harm, no foul. It totally matches this month’s Loot Pets shirt!Han Solo in Snow Gear POPĀ – Value $27Yes, yes, yes, a thousand times yes!!! The POP alone is worth the price of admission for me, but I’m a POP fan and collector. Everything else was fun and usable for me, so it really hit it out of the ballpark for me this month. What did you think of the December Loot Crate?
Are you excited for January’s theme (spoiler alert!)?Written by Eric CadmanEric is the co-founder of My Subscription Addiction.
