Pictures of 2011 Ford Transit Connect Vans from dealers, car shows, car museums and classic car auctions across the U.S. The team of veteran Master Model Builders creating #BrickPony have more than three decades of experience building dazzling models out of millions of LEGO bricks.
Led by Pete, a LEGO veteran, Team #BrickPony is making swift, brick-by-brick progress on the giant model, which is set to arrive at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort this fall, where it will go on permanent display outside the Ford Driving School attraction sponsored by Southern Ford Dealers.
Designed by LEGO Master Model Builders using special software, the giant model is assembled from the bottom up in layers, just like an ordinary LEGO set. According to Dale, the build’s senior project manager, while creating a LEGO car may not resemble the way they’re built in Detroit, the process is remarkably similar to assembling a typical LEGO set. LEGO Master Model Builder Sam is part of the seven-person team building the life-size Ford Mustang brick by brick, layer by layer. Less than three weeks remain before #BrickPony debuts at a special four-day event in Indianapolis.

Currently under construction by a team of LEGO Master Model Builders, the sleek new model is already preparing for its public debut.

This fall, kids can discover the car that re-defined cool when we unveil the next giant LEGO® model here at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort. In the spring of 1964, the Ford Mustang’s long hood and short rear deck made it an instant sensation when it was introduced to an eager public. The life-size “1964?” Ford Mustang model will go on display outside the theme park’s popular Ford Driving School attraction, courtesy of longtime sponsor Southern Ford Dealers.
Ford Driving School is where this timeless beauty will call home, replacing the LEGO version of the Ford Explorer that has appeared in thousands of guests’ photos since the theme park opened in 2011. Detroit produced 92,705 versions of the 1964? Mustang, but only LEGOLAND Florida Resort guests will be able to beam at this original.
The LEGO Master Model Builders in Connecticut know approximately how many bricks it will take to re-create the first Ford Mustang. Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently unveiled his company’s long-awaited all-electric Model X crossover SUV. With powertrains similar to the Tesla Model S, the plug-in electric-only Model X 90D has an estimated range of 413 km, while the P90D will do 403 km. The Tesla Model X is apparently the first SUV to get five stars in every crash test category, as there is no petrol engine in the front and the heavy battery is placed so low that there is a very low chance of roll-over.
The Model X can somehow seat seven with cargo room to spare, but it can’t have a roof rack with the Falcon Wing doors. There are no known plans by any local dealers to bring the Tesla brand to the GCC, even though a few privately-imported Model S sedans have been spotted in the UAE.

Once Tesla launch its mass market car the model 3, there is gonna be a revolution in automobile industry.
LEGO Master Model Builders Pete, Dave, Colin, Greg, Nate, Sam and TJ are currently assembling the life-size replica of the “1964?” Ford Mustang at the U.S. Altogether, the talented team has more than 30 years of building experience — that’s a lot of bricks!
More than a half-century later, we’re introducing that American classic to a whole new generation in an awesome way.  In association with Southern Ford Dealers, one of our longtime sponsors, we’re creating a life-sized version of the original Mustang out of thousands of LEGO bricks. When complete, the finished model will measure more than 15 feet long, nearly 6 feet wide and more than 4 feet tall.
1-4 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during the 40th anniversary celebration for the Mustang Club of America, a grassroots organization of Mustang enthusiasts that has grown to more than 12,000 national members and nearly 200 regional clubs with more than 40,000 local members.
It’s a 1:1 replica of the so-called “1964?” V8 coupe, the very first model that delighted American car buyers after debuting at the New York World’s Fair on April 17, 1964. After a bit of TLC, it’s going on permanent display at an exclusive location we’ll announce at a later date.
