Ever since 1999,
I've been creating a variety of info products in text format for
myself, and for the gurus whose work I did behind the
scenes.
In late 2015, I
decided to get rid of courses where you have someone buy it, hand
it over and leave them on their own to implement it.
It often fails to
get people to take action because they aren't seeing it
implemented live (along with any quirky things that stump you
along the way), and there's no one to turn to when you have a
quick question to help you move past obstacles.
So it ends up
gathering dust on their hard drive as they run off to buy yet
another course they hope to take action on later.
Enter the
World of Private Challenges
Private
challenges, I was told by one of my participants, are usually
places where some marketer forms a paid group to be in there
with you, usually aren't around much, and then hit you with a
massive upsell ticket if you want real hand
holding.
That's not at ALL
how I operate. This is a one time access fee to the
instructions, to the group, to my hand holding -
everything!
Does this mean you
have to put yourself out there in front of everyone?
I recognize that
there are many individuals who are either shy or want to remain anonymous
with their projects, so I am available for participants directly
via email OR through the group.
I do enjoy it when
people participate and help each other with their own
perspectives, so feel free to jump in with your $0.02 as
well.
What Does the
Blogging and List Building Challenge Encompass?
This is NOT your
typical course, so please pay attention carefully!
Have you ever had
a great idea for a niche and started a blog about it, only to
abandon it days or weeks later? I've done it! Just about
everyone has.
There are a few I
intentionally know I want to test the waters in - and some I
know I'll be committed to before I ever get started. That's what
I want to help you build.

What You Need BEFORE You Get Started and What This Challenge Is
NOT...
This blog
challenge will NOT teach you how to find a niche, a domain, or
set up a blog. So you have to have that set up on your own.
We will NOT be
using paid traffic or list building techniques that have you
casting a net out to uninterested people and trying to strong
arm them into signing up on your list.
There's a reason
why I convert at 40-70% when I send out an email to my list of
over 10,000 - and top leaderboards time and time again compared
to those with huge 100k+ lists.
It's because I
focus on quality of leads and loyalty of subscribers...NOT
volume! List building is a by product of good blogging and
socialization - not a medal of honor to show how crafty I was at
generating traffic to a landing page.
I teach what I
believe in - which is to care enough about your niche audience,
that you show up to serve them. This means they'll instinctively
want to learn from you, and you will have the ability to
reap the financial rewards that go along with them reaping the
rewards of your giving nature.
You will need to
have your email autoresponder set up. I will be going
into creating a value-driven opt in offer, since it's content -
but I don't do follow up emails aside from the initial one,
providing them their download. I broadcast to my list to keep
announcements fresh and up to date.
How the
Challenge Is Set Up
After you check
out, you'll be able to find a zip file inside JVZoo that gives
you the password and links for the challenge.
I do NOT start separate Facebook Groups for
endless dialogue. We stay focused with threaded comments on the
individual blog entries for each day's lesson.
One thing I
learned long ago is that people going onto FB means many will
start flitting around wasting time. My goal is to get you into
the lesson, have you absorb it, participate and log off and take
action - period!
You have the
ability to go at your own pace, but the goal is to have you do
one lesson per day. Don't beat yourself up if you get behind -
it's not a race!
Whenever I invite
people to submit something, such as a blog post or opt in idea,
you'll have the choice to do it in our private setting or email
me direct for one on one hand holding.
The lessons are
primarily private, password protected videos where I'm either
speaking to you or screen capturing my own implementation of the
lesson. Sometimes I will provide you with templates or resources
in text format, too.
