Question:
Do you want a piece of that easy-to-convert commission
pie?
Of Course You Do!
Hi
Marketers!
Let me
just confess something right here and now. I spoil my kids
at Halloween. Forget the candy - I shell out for three
costumes EACH (1 for school - which, by the end of the day
is trashed, 1 for trick or treat because sometimes the
school restricts what they can wear, and another if they
just HAVE to have one for fun and costume parties - and they
always do).
Did I
mention I have THREE kids? That's 9 costumes every
Halloween. Well thank goodness my oldest is now doing his
own thing, but that's still 6 costumes this year - and I'll
do it - because it's FUN!

So where
do you think I buy this stash of Halloween costumes?
Online!
Think I
want to wait in a cramped costume store, where there are 1-2
dressing areas, in a long line, and wait to see if they have
the costume in stock? NO WAY!
I'll
Share My Secret of Tapping Into the Costume Niche with
You...
I've
owned several costume sites in the past and they were very
lucrative. I never tell which sites I own now because people
copy me. But let me share some older data and tips to show
you how to target this niche...
The
demographics are enormous!
You can
target by age (hint: buyers use phrases like infant, baby,
toddler, 7-year old, 'tween, teen and adult).
You can
also target by gender - they want specific costumes for boys
or girls.
And
target by how many people want to dress up as a theme. For
example, couples love dressing up as a pair (like
Frankenstein and his bride), families often dress up
together (The Incredibles was a popular one for families
because it had mom, dad and the kids), or friends dress up
as a group (like all the Disney Princesses or the Scooby Doo
gang).
Don't
forget pets! They get dressed up by their owners, too.
Approach
it with a combination of content!
You'll
find that a nice mix of content works best. You can have
specific articles that review one exact costume. Or, you can
do articles like I have in this pack that discuss a costume
idea and offer several options.
Another
tactic is to pull in the do it yourselfers and simply teach
them tips about costumes and sell them the pieces to put it
together. You'll be promoting things like leggings, tiaras,
and makeup kits that aren't traditionally in a bundled up
costume kit.

Your Costume Reviews Ranking!
Whenever
I blog about costumes, I use a variety of keyword phrases -
almost all of them long-tail versions. Make sure you use
phrases such as, "top Hallowee costumes for girls
2016" or, "infant lion costume."
One of
my biggest moneymakers ever was a blog post titled,
"infant baby snail costume." Now inside the blog
post, use both text hyperlinks and links to the product
using images of the costumes.
Make
sure you share the posts on social networking sites. The big
ones? Pinterest, FB, Twitter and G+ will help you find
rankings and traffic. Take a look at the number of boards
these pins are shared on:

I did a
search for "group Halloween costumes" and found
tons of pins. 6,300 repins? Or how about the taxidermy one
for a whipping 29,300 repins?
Make
note of the keyword phrases you see in the above pic, such
as "cute costume idea for teen girls" or just
"group costume."
Use
My 2016 Halloween Costume Articles to Make Sales!
You want
to get your content up and running fast, so grab the PLR
articles I'm selling and put them up on
your site using links to the search pages on Amazon or other
sites for each costume idea mentioned.

The
2016 Halloween Costume PLR Bundle
I've
done something really specific with this content. As an
affiliate niche marketer, I know that some of the best
conversions I've had have been when I linked to a search
results page instead of one particular product.
So in
these articles, I discuss the options of costume ideas, and
you can link to the entire listings!
BUT...
You can also
link to individual costumes as well! It helps you maximize
the click throughs because you don't know if someone will
want to click on one phrase versus another.
So for
instance, using my PLR content, you'll want to link to the
Pokemon Costumes search results page (that showcases all of
the characters - Ash, Pikachu, Charizard and more) but ALSO
link to individual character costume pages (like Eevee)
whenever you see them mentioned.
Here's
what all is included in my 2016 costume review pack...
