In addition to the pedagogic principles stated, West Spring Primary adopts five domains of PLAY during lessons. Our PLAY- based learning approach is delivered through these pedagogic principles and can take the form of any of the 5 PLAY domains.
The emphasis is on developing musical understanding of what the child hears and performs within the context of fun and engaging activities. An important concept for parents is that children learn musical skills by imitating someone.
