When choosing any instrument for a beginner, there is a balance that must be found: You want an instrument with enough playability and features that the student will not instantly get frustrated with it. Learning to play the piano is a perfect way to develop an ear for intonation as well—pianos need to be tuned, but far less often than other instruments. One obstacle to learning to play a traditional acoustic piano is that it requires a large, expensive instrument that is nearly impossible to move. The acoustic piano has 88 keys most people are familiar with, and starting a student or other beginning player on a keyboard with 88 keys will make their transition to an acoustic piano much easier. The Yamaha NP32 76-Key Portable Piano weighs a mere 13 lb., yet packs a hefty sound bank, graded soft-touch keys and an easy-to-navigate user interface. The Yamaha NP32’s featherweight design makes it ideal for travel and stows away easily when it’s not in use. We offer a complete selection of keyboard stands and racks to match any student and budget. The Pro Platinum Keyboard Stand from On Stage Stands is sturdy, with adjustable height and width to help you play comfortably.
Graded hammer-action keys with velocity sensitivity give the Casio CD-130 Digital Piano real acoustic-piano feel.
An affordable choice for young children, traveling, or spontaneous backyard sing-alongs, the Casio SA-76 keyboard has 44 mini keys, and a headphone jack for musical exploration that maintains household peace.
The remarkably affordable Williams Overture 2 Console Digital Piano has full-size hammer-action keys with aftertouch and velocity response giving it the feel of far more costly pianos. Kurzweil builds acclaimed professional stage pianos and the company's MP-10 Digital Piano makes a great choice for serious students. My partner and I stumbled over here by a different page and thought I might as well check things out. Hi.I have a 3 and 4 year olds and wanted to start piano lessons for them, I wanted to bye a piano.
HiI'm 14 and looking for a simple keyboard to use for a cheap-ishprice but good enough to keepfor years. Update: We're happy with the Yamaha, although my daughter still takes some prodding to keep up with practice. Hi There,I'm 27 years old planing to buy a keyboard and I have no idea about playing, I just love to learn and I think that Ill start with youtube leasons.Could you plz suggest a model? Thanks & Regards.
Hey, thanks you for this very usefull post.I'm an adult (actually 17 years old, so probably young adult will be a better fit). Hi Dhyanesh,My 7 year old son has been asked to bring a keyboard to school for his instrumental music class. Hi there,Electric Keyboard or Piano, what would be the best one to gift my daughter on her 7th b'day?
Many people looking to get into the hobby of motorcycling often smirk when it is suggested that they look into a fantastic bike like the CBR 250, Ninja 250, or the Ninja 300. If you wanted something manageable for a beginner, but also more “motorcycle” for the money than the 250cc offerings out there, check out the Honda CBR 500R. You will find that the leg room, seat height, and riding position make the bike much more comfortable for someone of larger stature.
Speaking of the freeway, if you plan on doing freeway riding, that is where the CBR really seems to shine. In the looks department there is no denying that the CBR appears much less aggressive than the Ninja 300. I imagine you could ride this thing for years just doing the regular maintenance and you wouldn’t have any problems. All things considered, you can’t go wrong buying the CBR 500R, and for a lot of people this bike makes more sense than the very popular Ninja 300 or the CBR 250.
Hi, im currently looking into getting my license, im 15 and have the money saved to buy a bike so i can go through class and put in hours so i can have my restricted for next year, would the CBR 250 be a better option for me?
The only real criticism is a very short 1st gear, if you're clear at the lights and want to go for it, set off in second with a few more revs. It's not the fastest bike out there, but fast enough if you want an everyday ride, great as a first bike if the 300's and 250's are a little bit small or anaemic, and will beat 90% of cars from a dead start. Maybe not the only bike you'll ever WANT, but as one reviewer put it, the only bike you'll ever NEED!
I'm a 17 year old, and I'm about 180 pounds.  I've always wanted a motorcycle, and I'm trying to get one.  My mom doesn't want me to, and I don't know what to do?  Any suggestions? I've been riding a Honda XR125 for my whole high schooling career(5 years) up until the time of trials in grade 12 when my parents surprised my sister and I with a CBR500, and I gotta say, it's quite amazing. Out of all of the cruisers available right now I absolutely love the look of the Vulcan S the most. The engine of the Vulcan S is a 649cc parallel-twin based on the same engine from the Ninja 650.
The 649cc engine is smooth, and it’s transmission has 6 speeds to make freeway riding easier. The thing that sets this bike apart more than any other is the 'Ergo-fit' customizations that are available.
The 'Extended Reach' seat which lets you slide back in the saddle a bit more and raise you up.
This is incorrect information, I'm based in India and I can vouch for the fact that Harley Davidson India manufactures the Street 750.
I test drove Vulcan S and Indian Scout in Malaysia and both bikes were very impressive and street and traffic friendly. I called  4 dealerships in the Houston area asking if any of them would set up a bike in the extended reach mode,  and NOT ONE would do it !  Apparently when Kawasaki ships these to the dealers,  they are in the mid size setting,  and the bottom line is,  they don't want to set one up in the other sizes.  The good news is that I found a dealership about 3 hours away that would do it,  so there is a solution,  but it has been a bit frustrating.
Bottom line,  it was encouraging to read your post about these,  and I look forward to trying one.

I am continuing my research and this time I thought I’ve never done Photoshop layout tutorial roundup and wanted to become better in this matter. Whether you kick off a web interface design by sketching on papers or blank Photoshop canvas, it’s good to get some guides and inspirations. Designing an effective and visually attractive web layout can be a daunting task especially for the novices but they can make this extremely intricate task an easier one with the help of online tutorials.
As time goes on, designing website layouts in Photoshop is becoming a necessity for every designer. For this reason,I want to help everyone who wanna become a web designer,by presenting some of the best website layout tutorials made in Photoshop.
If you like to get inspired and start you website design, here are 25 fresh and high quality photoshop website layout tutorials.I hope that you find these great tutorials helpful. But at the same time, you don’t need to spend extra on features that the novice won’t yet use or understand. This is because a foundation of piano playing can make other instruments, like the guitar, simpler. Electronic keyboards maintain perfect pitch and many can be set to various non-standard tunings at the flick of a switch. Modern keyboards and electric pianos can offer great sound and the same dynamics of an acoustic piano in an inexpensive and portable package.
However smaller keyboards can be easier to play and less-confusing—not to mention more portable and convenient—for new and, especially younger, players! The Yamaha YPG 235 76 Key Portable Grand Piano is a great practice keyboard that can easily be connected to your computer via USB. If you want to provide your young children with long-lasting enrichment consider one of these instruments. For those wanting to start a child on a very early musical journey, check out My First Piano II by Schoenhut. Housed in a living room-friendly spinet cabinet, and equipped with fully weighted action and adjustable touch-sensitive keys, it's a delight to play.
After much research, I found the Casio and Yamaha digital pianos the most reviewed and respected beginner models out there. Its holding up well and the only fault I've found is that the auto-off feature doesn't work. I love music and have worked in the past with reading music and understanding basic concepts about playing the piano.
I am 22 years old and decided to learn keyboard because I was inspired to write Christian songs.
Which keyboard should I buy? Also I used to play guitar but when I broke my finger hurts if I bend it too much. Anyway, I see a lot of comments asking about their kids, but I wanted to know if these are good even for an untrained adult? She loves music, she can already play 'London Bridge is Falling Down' on a really cheap toy keyboard with its broken keys.
This is most often the case when the soon-to-be motorcycle rider weighs over 200 lbs… “How will the bike carry me? Right now Honda is the only sports bike manufacturer offering a 500cc class bike brand new. It simply looks like a much larger bike compared to some of the other offerings in the beginner motorcycle class. When riding the CBR you will find that it has a very flat torque curve that redlines at around 8500 RPM’s (revolutions per minute of the engine). Yes, the CBR has a full fairing, but the angles are soft and the seating position is upright.
Most people don’t own their first bike forever though, so if it comes time to sell this beast you will be pleasantly surprised to find that it has held it’s value well. Because of the increased power of this bike, it should help eliminate any fears a new rider might have of “outgrowing” the motorcycle in a couple months. For a person who felt the power of a 125cc for 5 years and then a sudden jump to a 500 - it was heaven. Thought long and hard about which bike would suit me best and I just couldn't bring myself to buy a new Honda CBR500R. It combines the precise engineering Kawasaki is known for with a modern style that can’t be beat. That mean’s a new rider will be able to control this bike fairly easily, but it will still bringing a smile to an experienced riders face.
It has the option of being loaded with Anti-lock Brakes (ABS) which can really help with keeping you safe, especially as a new riders.
But its not the 'best', best looking beginner cruiser bike out there. I think that maybe you're forgetting the new Indian Scout.
Contrary to Buggies and Truggies these rock crawling monsters are designed to go over boulders, rocks, climb steep hills at slow, controlled and precise speed.  Rock crawlers are almost exclusively electric powered to allow you precise control of your beginner RC car throttle.

Although the authors of the tutorials rarely provide the information about the used version, we tried to pick only those tutorials that can be used with both CS5 and older versions of Adobe Photoshop. Though Photoshop’s interface is intuitive enough for an absolute beginner to learn basic image editing tasks such as cropping and resizing, to be able to fully master and utilize all of its tools takes a considerable amount of time. Luckily, littered across the vast space of the web are tutorials in all shapes and sizes that will help you get up and running in no time. Hopefully everyone can learn something from the following list of photo manipulation tutorials.
It allows artists to freely create an awesome piece of art by using stock images and editing them afterwards. We’ve put together a list of 60 of the best tutorials we could find to help you stay up to date on the latest trends and techniques. These so called text effects or type effects are carefully hidden guilty pleasures that most designers enjoy to try, but would never dare to apply in real life work.

We’ll create a 3D object from a 2D depth map texture first and then create diffuse and self illumination textures.

Photoshop’s versatility, robust set of tools, and excellent workflow management make it the web designer’s preferred application when creating designs for the web.
One of the reasons I didn’t make this kind of list, because I saw there are already many of similar articles.
Here we’ve compiled some of the nicest Photoshop tutorial that guides you, step by step, building up a web interface all the way from scratch. Whether it is a simple design or an advanced one, Photoshop can often come handy in creating such layouts. Keeping this in mind, we decided to assemble a list of useful tutorials that guide you step by step on how to design beautiful and eye-catching web layouts. This post has helped me save many hours of browsing other similar posts just to find what I was looking for. The days of being confined to the piano teacher’s dusty living room are over; modern keyboards (or electric pianos) are portable and great for practice and performing. More than your typical toy instrument, the color coded lessons and everything else learned can be transferred to an adult piano.
I wanted something that is full size and quality as an acoustic piano but smaller, and something that I can learn on as well. It's not effecting the instrument in anyway, so not worth the bother of returning to the store. I want to buy a budget keyboard as a spplementary substitute for organ so i can practice at home.
I'm interested in playing classical music but also create my own with electronic influence and the likes. Opps I am a beginner to be honest I want some advise which is best for me that will meet my budget.(sorry just being practical because I know weighted keys is expensive ) But at the same time has usb input. He needs something that can run on both battery and adapter as in the school there are less power points and not all students can use adapters. As of now my son does not play any music and is just starting. Suzuki no longer offers the wonderful GS500F (I myself started on a GS500!) and Kawasaki stopped making the Ninja 500R in 2009.

The tires are much wider than they would be on something like the Ninja 300 which gives it a ‘full size’ feel. I love the double headlights though, and the windscreen does provide protection from the cold when you need it to. The CBR500 is quite reliable and in my opinion one of the best handling bikes out there with regards to comfort and riding position. Was offered a new 0 miles Honda CB500X (with dealer fitted top box and panniers) for around ?700 cheaper than the Kawasaki 300 ABS I ended up buying.
If you are new here I highly recommend you check out the "Getting Started" guide, it has some of my best information all in one place. If you feel like upgrading in the future the Vulcan lineup has many different engines and configurations to choose from. ABS can prevent you from locking up the wheels and crashing when the pavement surface is less than ideal. It has a lot of features that make it very beginner friendly and at the same time it’s style is something that can’t be ignored. I believe all other Streets sold around the world are made in India by Harley-Davidson themselves, not Hyosung which I believe is a Korean company. These 50 tutorials are aimed at the clever beginner who wants to master Photoshop from the roots. We have collected 20 Superb and Easiest Photoshop Tutorials for Beginners which will teach you start from the opening the Photoshop file to blending and making bokeh effect. Here is an ultimate list of 30 beginner’s guides, leading you to become a better Photoshop user. The tutorials shown here will teach a wide variety of techniques and will work towards end results of all kinds. Not too easy to use, but full of high-quality features, Photoshop is the best choice for any image manipulation job. It is largely used in promoting all sorts of endeavors, services and products and can be commercially seen on all sorts of visual media like posters, billboards, and even on TV and film. In the hands of someone who knows how to control Photoshop it is able to do some really cool tricks but it isn’t easy at all for beginners. You’ll find some really cool grunge and glass styles (plus a few surprises!) and learn how some of the best designers create their unique effects.
In the coming days we will be presenting different types of Photoshop Tutorials for our readers. In todays post I’ve focused my attention on creating logo designs for your company or website. We were able to collect 30+ Useful Logo Design Tutorials for Photoshop and Illustrator for designers who ventures to logo creation.
We have collected some really creative and helpful recent tutorials that display the process behind creating web layouts in Photoshop. This is the case because there is one key for each note, rather than multiple ways to play it, which makes it much easier to visualize intervals.
With a wide range of features (and an even wider price range), what is the right choice for your baby would-be Beethoven or Elton? A keyboard with 61 keys will still allow a beginning student to complete most of the lessons they will initially encounter.
Read specs to find out if the keyboard can be powered with batteries, an AC adapter, or both. I am starting to learn playing piano with the help of online lessons but i need to buy a piano that is cheap , (at least under $600 )and is portable as i dont have much space to keep it. I'm wandering if it's not to late, and if I could be able to learn play the piano, even if I have just started now? Those two bikes can still be acquired in the used market, and I actually recommend that you look at something used if you are buying a motorcycle for the first time.
It also sports more legroom than most bikes in the sub 600cc class because of lower footpegs. The bike will have the same power starting off the line as it will once it gets up to freeway speeds. The bike is heavier than most 250’s or 300cc’ motorcycles which means an easier ride and being pushed around less by the wind when you are at freeway speeds.
In my experience, it give you just enough power to have fun and push the bike to its limits. This bike is even better though because it is a fraction of the cost coupled with the reliability kawasaki is known for. I find large compilations of Tutorials for Photoshop a great resource for inspiration and learning and I hope this article will be a good help for everyone including people new to Photoshop trying to do some photo magic for the first time. It is a pretty simple thing to do and actually it can be realized in a short amount of time.
Not all keyboards include an adapter—read descriptions carefully so you order the appropropriate extras.
Playing a keyboard with weighted keys will allow a student to build a technique that will easily transfer to an acoustic piano. Whichever you choose, just ensure it has 88 keys and that they are weighted (or "hammer action) and you will be fine.
It's sound is very authentic, and like to play with the other voices, but pretty much stick to piano #1 or #2. I'm sorry for my terrible English, but I realy need to know that because the piano costs to much to let it slip away. If, however, you are dead-set on getting something off the showroom floor in 500cc’s, Honda is your only option. Bikes like the Ninja 300 need to get the RPM’s up quite high before you start to feel a surge of power. The Honda’s seat is also padded more than other bikes which really helps when you are on the bike for more than a few hours.. I think if I was a more skillful rider, I could probably keep up with my dad on his Hayabusa around the bends (definitely not on the straight). Unfortunately it is around $4k dollars more than a Kawasaki Vulcan S and that may be too much more to spend on a motorcycle for many people but I do like that bike a lot.
This is a feature particularly worth considering if the player plans learn the acoustic piano as well.
I like #2 cause its more intimate and plucky sounding (and therefore believable to me) while most ppl seem to like #1 for its luxurious, echo-ey grand sound. It gets 50+ miles per gallon and can comfortably go over 200 miles before you have to put more gasoline in it. Was lucky enough to ride a friend's CB500X and although it was a really great bike and probably the best variant of the new Honda 500's, I was glad I bought the 300 Ninja.
I was tempted by the Yamaha P115 but my budget guided me to the fewer featured instrument since she is a beginner. That makes this bike an option for those that really want to [L]save money on gas by riding a motorcycle. Is the extra leg room, more power, Honda reliability, and softer looks worth that extra dough? I'd recommend a fixed wood stand (instead of the metal scissor type for appearance and stability reasons) as well as a very comfy bench to encourage long practice sessions ;). Any cheaper and we would have crossed from instrument to toy quality, any more expensive, and we would have been distracted by excessive features & controls. When ridden hard the 300 Kawasaki was easily a match for my friend's the larger engined Honda CB500X. Expect to pay $600 for the set, but you may save a cpl hundred if you find a sale or a display model. It wouldn't surprise me if Honda actually dropped the CBR500R from the UK market in favour of the CB500X. I think Honda are living on past glory when it comes to bikes it doesn't actually build in Japan.
My friend's CB500X has had lots going wrong with it, same with most of the local Honda CBF125 riders I've spoken to. My "winter" bike is a (2011) Kawasaki Ninja 250r and what I was really looking for was a more powerful version of that. The 300 Ninja isn't just a 250 Ninja with more cc, it's a huge leap forward in handling and power. One thing to note also is that I put 1" bar risers on my 250 and it makes a big difference to the riding position. Didn't buy the fun Yamaha R3 or the KTM RC390 purely on the riding position: had a (2013) Suzuki 650s and the main reason for trading it in for the Ninja 300 was because of the uncomfortable riding position.
