For a given daily peak volume of a part as specified in the upper right hand corner of the PDS, the Transport Cubing Estimate report provides the percent utilization that will occur using a particular container size.  Transport cubing estimates are useful for planning shipments.  This transport cube estimate does not account for a mixed load.

To access transport cubing estimates:

1. Access the As Shipped Summary Section of the PDS.
2. Click Transport Cube Estimates link.

     

3. The Transport Cube Estimates session depicts for the given unit load as shipped with parts information regarding utilization in a particular transport container type. System will calculate based on the inside dimensions of the transport container, how many unit loads will fit.
