Once an item's PFEP has been sufficiently populated, it is ready to be released to production. This is the process of releasing the part data to the corresponding  MRP Area Item record and Supplying MRP Area Item record. This data will overwrite any existing data that is already stored in the MRP Area Item and  Supplying MRP Area Item records. It is recommended to validate and release items to production, prior to ordering parts. 

The process of releasing items to production can occur in two ways:

1. Release Items to Production From PFEP session. 
2. Release Multiple PFEPs via  PFEP Maintenance session.
